One Hour

Momo on his Fire eye Blood Shot and Niko On his 456EVO from ON ONE took off to continue building and finally test our new jumps. Everything is starting to come together and the jumps feel good but need more tweaking! RideOn!

Sweet! You have a DJ sesh stash! Nice that you made em tables instead of gaps. The music was awsome........totaly awsome........You will doing three,s off of these tables eventualy. I can feel it. Did you notice that DJing keeps you warm? it is a huge work out in a small space.
Stoked that you are freeriding and Dirt Jumping!

Thank you brother! Yes, the idea of this trail was with kids in mind. We build it so anyone of any level could have fun, also its a flat grate so there is really no speed. So, the tables are just safe! Once we get our speed up and jumping confidence I can see where some tricks can come into play! The Pump track is an instance warmer, ahahahhahahah Its a killer work out and super fun too! We rode here for just one hour but my clothes were slippery wet, ahahhhhahah Thank you brother, I love it all! Shhhhhh, I even ride XC time to time too! hahahah RideOn!

Excellent job doing all of the work necessary to get a legit dirt spot like this up and running! I do have one suggestion from experience putting in a public dirt spot and watching your video too. When we first built the smaller table line (much like yours) we make the landing length match the lip.. when actually, the jumps being targeted towards a more beginner demographic need a lot longer landing for the smaller jumps. This allows the newer riders to dial in the speed they need and help the jumps flow a lot better for more experienced riders too. Just my $0.02 Smile Major props again on the project!

 Thank you buddy!
Your 2cents are priceless!

When you mean make the transitions longer, do you mean not as steep?
Or taller than the lip?

I want to make the jumps as safe as they can be for anyone to ride.

I have been DJing other places and sometimes timing is tough to judge on the first go and I have over shot the backside landing my head a couple of times, ah ahahhahhaha

Right now the speed here is flat and these jumps are as big as we can go for now.
We made the 2nd and 3rd jumps transition taller than the lip which also made it longer and it feels much better now.

Everything is still new and when I have time I will make more videos of the pump track too.

Any advice is helpful as this spot's goal is to help kids and novice riders get into the sport while progressing theirs skills!

RideOn dude!

By making the transitions longer, I mean leave them at the same height they are currently at but just extend them another couple of feet out. So instead of the landing being 6ft long, make them 8ft long which will make them a lot less steep. Gives beginners a lot larger target to hit with their wheels Smile

Thank you very much! The jumps are now 2 times bigger and we did away with the starting ramp making it 40 feet back increasing the speed. I was there today and its feeling good but still needs lots of work! RideOn buddy!

This was our summer project and we along with our local shop have been very busy building this land up to a suitable riding spot.
The land was a donation and use to be a love hotel so we call the track "Love Trail"

There will be more to come!
Aloha and Shaka!

That was an awesome set of jumps Manny. They had lots of speed one thing we dont have here but in time as the shape settles down to how its easy for everyone to ride and jump we should have a cool set too! I think Sarah and Jax are going to have lots of fun here!

Niko, how do you do it man!!! Getting anyone to lend you land round here for any bike related stuff is like trying to get a Jyuminhyou!
  • + 1
 Just luck I assume mate!
We now actually have 3 legal spots to build and ride.
This is our newest spot and was a long summer project that has come together with the help of our local shop named Wild Wind.

This is going to be a great place for anyone of any age!

How do you get a Jyuminhyou?
I have had my eijyuuken for about 6 years now.

It would actually be really interesting for my to get to know you lads and talk about how and why we are living in Japan!
One day mate!

The land was donated to our local shop Wild Wind so he is in full charge of the land but we are there to help and build it up little by little! RideOn!
