Could not avoid her. Feel sorry, but the course was open. Just the mistake of the marshal.

 He was just being a jentleman and letted her touch the ground first.. because after all it's ladies first right?

 I think it wasn't her mistake. The Policeman helped her crossing the track with her (i think) husband..
