It's not about image. For riders who are used to wear fullface with goggles is this more natural. I do it same way.

I also ride that way and I wouldn't call it an enduro thing. Goggles provide more protection and confidence while riding

Cool Vid. He looked funny at 0:16 when he put the goggles on. Enduro is the new "go to" derogatory comment. I say let em ride in flip flops and scuba gear as long as they are having fun!

I personally prefer goggles even with XC helmet because sweat drips into my eyes.. and when you wear contacts that's very annoying
