Trail Time in September
A crazy all day adventure shuttling to 3 different trails.
All in all good times but, BeeMan had to descend without a chain all day!

It would have been cool if all of you rode chainless. It frees up the rear suspension and forces you to brake less to keep the momentum going. Video has a nice feeling of peace and solitude to it.

ahahahhahahah
I actually think that would make a fun event!
I have broke my chain mid ride about 4 times now.
The feeling of having to rely on momentum and natural pushes and pumping is a big learning experience.
It taught me a lot having to stay off the brakes more and balancing the bike to push through sections.
Buddy came after a 2 year break with his bike set up in a single speed mode, however he forgot to compensate chain growth. So we put a new chain and I realized it would never work as the tensioner he had didn't have a retracting spring on it, so under forces it snapped the second chain, ahahhahahha
Our day was full of heat and fun lines, not really solitude and peaceful but I liked the way the song help create that feeling of solitude and peacefulness. In reality we were the only guys on the mountain and riding in the forest is always peaceful!

You North Americans are smooth and fast! Watching Neko race here in Cairns.. he impressed me the most of all the riders. He was like liquid flowing and did well even with a crash!

Thats awesome, I didn't know you got to see him in person.
When you are an event and see the speed coupled with fluidity of the riders talent you really gain a new respect for the sport.
Right now we are watching all the huge footage from the Rampage but if there in person our feelings would be amplified!!
RideOn to Neko!

I'll never forget sitting on the gondola heading to the top of Fujimi panorama and have an unknown downhiller emerge from the forest below like a samurai on horseback in the forest.. the fluidity of the scene actually moved me! Its the first time I had seen the act of mountain biking in a completely passive and objective way.. almost like the first astronauts looking back at earth and realizing how beautiful it actually is! I had a feeling it was beautiful but that scene actually confirmed it.

Im speechless!
Im your experience has sent me years back to a notion I also once had, realization!
Realizing a reality is a profound moment in life, it leaves you with a loss of words.
