While on a ski trip to Massofnuttin', I was reading somewhere that the trails in the area are sorta rent-a-trails.. to a certain degree. From the way I understood it... you buy a hall-pass of sorts and that gives you access to the good trails. I don't know if this is true but, it sounds like a good idea. funds go into keeping the trails alive ---- I think far too many people don't lift one finger to help a trail system thrive. and if there is some sort of fee to enter, they try to find ways to avoid that fee ... pretty pathetic if you ask me.. it takes a lot of work to keep trails alive..
