 The song doesn't match up with the theme of the video. Gipsy Kings are Spanish not Mexican. A Vicente Fernandez song would make more sense.

 Don't bother trying to educate them. As you can see in the video, they still think everybody in Mexico uses "zarapes" and rides horses. I bet they think "fajitas" is a classic meal form Mexico too... haha.
