Ribb you are a idiot...Nobody cares about your opinion at all. Just watch the vid, if you dont like it dont then deal with it. Tippie helped form the freeride scene way back when with Simmons. If it wasnt for him and a couple others we wouldent know freeride like we do today.

He maybe the "nicest guy ever" but that doesn't change the fact that when i look at this ad the first thing that pops into my head is not "I better go buy some raceface products for my bike cos the guy in the ad is the nicest guy ever. And freeride pioneer!" No, not at all. It's more like "What a twat!" But that's just my opinion.

Advertisements are for getting noticed and generating buzz on a product. Tippie is fun. You should try hanging out with him and not have a good time- impossible.

Ye know what? I think you care about my opinion, you care so much you just had to post up with your counter opinion. You've taken it as a personal attack! Just because i don't like the Raceface ad, and the guy (in my view) comes across as a twat. You know who he is, his background and what he's done for the sport but i don't, so from that perspective my point is a valid one, whether you like it or not.

I think tippie is a legend, and I am sure he is a great guy, great father, great fiance, and always pays his taxes on time......but you need to know that if you EVER say anything negative about tippie on Pinkbike you are going to get comment raped. These kids LIVE for it.. I appreciate your opinion, even if I whole heartedly disagree with you.

This ad is annoying, i mean who or what is he supposed to be? If Race Face intended to make an ad that was painful to watch and included a twat, then it's mission accomplished.
