No worries man, glad I could help! Should be a good race! I hope they film the new motorway section with all the new jumps, they better not miss that part out like they did at Pietermaritzburg in round 1 with those huge table tops! I will not be happy, haha.
This is a great track, but tabletop jumps are somewhat boring to watch, everybody essentially does the same thing and you can't gain much time with your skills compared to how you can in more natural technical areas.
It says 6:15 PDT which means 10:15 for me. Since Pinkbike is based in British Columbia the times posted will (probably) always be in Pacific Daylight Time. Know how your local time zone relates to Pinkbike's and you'll be set.
I'm sure I put a link in my comment up there to where you can watch it, but it looks like pinkbike removed it, so I'll post the links again. If you for some reason can't watch it on here then you can go to live.redbull.tv/events/57/uci-uk-dhi
Pinkbike removed the link I gave in my original comment, so here they are again if any of you have trouble on here or on another website watching it live.
That would be a huge surprise, considering his serious injury and the intensity of this track. But the Brits seem guaranteed some good results in the finals, after dominating qualifying with 10 of the top 25 results. Going to be another insane race!
1. Gwin
2. Hart
3. Smith
1. Hart (Since he won the BDS here 2 weeks ago, smashing his rear mech on the top of the motorway section so couldn't pedal) 2. Minnaar (Sheer power will pull him up the ranks) 3. Gwin (Not his sort of track)
BulldogUK, I've been told that Peaty won't be racing today now because of a crash he had yesterday, shame..I wanted to see him on the track! Will be interesting to see who wins though, I'm thinking a few different people, Rachel will definitely win for the women though!
Gwin currently in first, Danny Hart .8 back in second, Atherton 2.5 back in third. Peaty went off course and coasted down. Hill just off the podium 3.2 back.
If you knew how DH races are run then you'd know that it would be impossible to show a full course run without cutting out most of the next few rider's runs... also you'd need a LOT of equipment to show all that...
Oh wonderfull, pinkbike mods... Your just seriously sad for removing my comments ! You know everyone agrees with me that redbull are THE worst for live coverage !
They will probably remove that comment and then temp ban me ! i dont care, ive had enough of the petty removing comments.. Sites going downhill now, getting worse with all the new fangled decisions..
REDBULL Thanks for the coverage...I know it's free and I'm able to watch the top racers flying downhill. BUT please FIRE the producer of this coverage... And hire a consultant (a former dh rider) to TELL YOU which sections of the track to cover. We need more cameras god damn it! If you are going to take the coverage away from FREECASTER then at least do as good a job as they did. Your coverage doesn't do justice to the sport and is basically the same as reading the results from print. You guys don't even get the medal ceremony! Let's get some competent people to cover Mount Saint Anne.
This coverage kinda sucks this weekend , only have the very top and the last :30 seconds of the track?! I would l would love to see the gnarlier sections of track with multiple cameras and just 1 at the bottom!

Agree mate. The times being quoted all over the net are a bit random, but here in UK we knew it started at 13:15 (local time) and the UCI qualification sheets say the same. I got all ready to watch and was pretty disappointed, or actually disgusted, to see that they aren't showing the womens race live.
I know RedBull are doing some great stuff here, but come on Red Bull, show it all!!! Last year extreme would cover the entire broadcast start to finish which was great.
Can't believe with all the repeated programming on Red Bull TV that they can't show the whole broadcast.
Bwhahahahahha, first i wasn't paying atention to Pinkbike, but suddenly i heard the commentators, and i tought: oh crap! its started, then i heard van persies name and i was like the f*ck, he isnt racing downhill?!
Please please work on the video player! have so many problems with it not loading, keeps stoping with black screens, and you can't pause and let it load. Please fix and add available different quality settings!
I like it how everyone is trying to figure out when it gets shown live and I just wait for the next day and go watch it in the library at school and use the school's download.
We're on Pacific Daylight Time now, not Pacific Standard Time, so the time posted above the video is when the race will be broadcast... 6:15 tomorrow (Sunday) morning. See you then!
Yeah you should be able to watch the race live on the redbull app on your sansumg internet, that's what my dad is doing as I'm borrowing his laptop so he's just using the redbull app
billy-smith, the racing starts at 1:15pm but it doesn't go live for people in the UK until 2:15pm. At 2:15 you'll see the women's highlights to start off with then the top 30 men, so we'll miss a lot of the men but still see the best ones racing Hope this helps.
this "live cast" is so fake, how is possible to watch "live" if the results are already posted in the website????????????? so fake! FAKE, as well red bull coberture is so small, how is possble to wacth a5 mins run in lesss than 2 mins, son fake! in so angry.
haha, everyone is getting this mixed up with the pacific (PDT) time. We are BST (British summer time, not PDT). Guys, for us in the UK it's 2:15pm when it starts streaming live. We will see the women's highlights and then the top 30 men.
Not sure what time it is in other countries, but in the UK it will be live at 2:15pm.
Hope this helps

Compare Freecaster's coverage (16 cameras) of Champery 2011 UCI DH to Redbull's 2012 coverage.
UCI's website says Redbull will bring more cameras and better coverage to the DH World Cup. I HAVEN'T SEEN EITHER FROM REDBULL.

They must have been super slick in that fog/rain.
And being that I was busy trying to check out of a hotel room, I missed a bit here or there. What happened to Minnaar?
6.15am.......huh?
