That captured our riding here in The Lakes really well. Be prepared for rain, rocks and some hike-a-bike but the rewards are well worth it. Once you've had your fun out on the fells, we've got some quality trails here too.
BTW - The fell riding at the beginning is Gatesgarth (nr Haweswater), then it cuts to the relatively new black run at Grizedale Forest.

The quality of that video was so good that my laptop barely played it properly... the colours were absolutely perfect in my opinion! I have a question however: I would be very interested in knowing what camera was used to create such great shots?

Yea, I'd really like to know what camera was used too.

I hiked the Coast to Coast walk in '89 (wtf - when did I get so old!) and there was 2 guys on mtn bikes riding the trail at the same time. They even rode Helvellyn Striding Edge which impressed the hell out of me. I remember being jeaous as my Tech (good ol' Canadian company back in the day) was back home in Calgary getting dusty.

Thanks for the vid. Brought back some memories. I remember cresting one pass and as we looked down on the lake below there were 3 fighter jets racing along the surface and as they "hopped" the ridge we were standing on, it felt like they were only 50 ft over our heads.

Awesome video! One of the best I've seen in awhile! Really captured the essence of what a perfect ride is to me.. Great song choice as well! It's The Builder's and the Butcher's, Black Dresses; if anyone wanted to know.

3:30 onwards is the recently built black run at Grizedale forest. Do you know where they are riding in the first half of the vid?

@thebear17 , Seriously? Grizedale forest is 10 mins from Ambleside! Just take the road to Hawkshead and it's on the right after the village. Enjoy!

More of Haweswater but with the Nan Bield decent into the Kentmere valley which is much better than the Gatesgarth path

I think that jumpy section was the new downhill line at Grizedale. Don't quote me on that but it looked familiar.
