I’m lucky enough to ride bikes all over the world, all year. I compete, I race a little, and I love the off season building and riding in Santa Cruz. No matter what I’m doing on a bike, it's for fun. Don’t get me wrong, I take competing seriously - but only because I take fun very seriously. Without good and great times, I wouldn’t be driven to ride bikes. So here's my trail bike video.
Yes, its a cutting edge, six inch travel, highly capable up and down 27.5 bike. But we're gonna avoid the “E” word, here. Regardless of what other people choose to do with their bike, or how they pass their time, I ride trail bikes to enjoy the ups and the downs of my beautiful country between the serious moments in the summer and winter.
In this adventure, I headed up into the beautiful northern California countryside and did some good old
#campinsleepin and
#freeridekickouts. There's nothing like breaking a bit of a sweat exploring new trails and coming out of corners not knowing what's next on the trail. So, if for nothing else, I ride my trail bike for adventure's sake.
Have fun out there.

Great vid and even nicer looking rig!
Paradise Royale!
And soon… as in a couple of years I hope… a new trail out Hwy 299 (Arcata to Redding route), an hour or so from Arcata… similar to PR!

p.s. the video above mixes in shots not from the trail… like the beach… but it's close!
Take water… always a chance the campground will not have any.
