His fork is compressed though... and he couldn't compress it just with his body unless he had leverage... looks real... plus this would be that hard to do before a crash
So your telling me that if you were to lay on your bars your fork wouldnt compress? And how does one manage to go OTB there anyways? Why is his hair still? Where is the go pro footy?
Tire is not even showing any deformity for such an impact that the fork suggests. Which makes me think the fork itself was collapsed manually. Then if my premise is true, it would be simple enough to lay the bike against the side of a tree, then have him carefully lay on top of the handlebar and get this pose going for the camera that is placed perfectly with such a high shutter speed that everything is crystal clear...so clear that you can't see any evidence of speed involved such as dust or rocks thrown anywhere from any type of skidding and such. And that hair must be super gelled to not move at all.
Just to support: It would be so hard to thumb up , smile and look at the camera if he is really crashing, i think everyone here knows how fast a crash is and specially one like this..even if he is going slow i think it'd be almost impossible to react in thousandths or maybe 2 seconds and do what he's doing..unless he did it un purpose..which would be also hard or risky because you don't know if you are gonna land it like planned..so in my opinion its fake.
"If the pic gets POD I'll provide proof." Haha seriously dude? Why wouldn't you just prove it now then? Plus I'm sure the sequence of pictures into this would be so sick, if this mysterious sequence does actually exist...
I dare not make an argument about the questionable authenticity of this photo! Real or fake, it is badass, and it looks as if there should be real proof from that GoPro footy (which we hope to see)!
