ION Bike Apparel 2014
Ambitious water boardsports brand ION launched their first bike apparel collection in 2013. Now, the 2014 collection has arrived at local bike shops in over 24 countries worldwide. Time for a short overview of the 100% German engineered collection:
SCRUB & FLARE – Trail/Freeride

The brand new Flare (women) and Scrub (men) series are ION's flagships in advanced technical construction and material choice. The long sleeve tops combine DriRelease front panels with airy mesh jerseys on back and arms. The shorts are made of a special 4 way-flex fabric, DWR treated, with laser cut details, bonded hems and a fabric-feature mix that make them a functional, robust and light piece of kit.

ROAM & LUZID – The streetwear inspired riding collection.

The Luzid (women) and Roam (men) lines grew up to 20 different styles for 2014:
Main idea: to combine a caual look with high functionality.All tops are made of Drirelease fabrics with Freshguard, which have a classic cotton look, but dry four times faster than cotton. Cargo style shorts and jeans (shorts & pants) are flexy and feature a cycling specific cut for maximum freedom of movement.

The 2014 Slash is a pure gravity riding oriented combo: super airy but still robust mesh jersey long sleeves include a hidden ticket pocket plus a lens cleaning patch. The matching "Sabotage" pants and shorts are made of a robust mix of 4-way-flex and nylon fabric also feature hidden neoprene reinforcements on the outer hip for additional abrasion resistance.

I would love to have some more subtle kit to choose from , earthy/pastel colors would be nice.
We are working on the 2015 collection right now, and be sure, there will be at least one black shorts&jersey version of each line for men.
Now why does the kona 153 not come in black or raw? DAAANG IT
If you guys are riding in denim and Flannels or regular T-shirts moisture sweat and mud are no issues for you?
Plenty of people are buying Neon coloured frames so why not bright clothing too?
I got a few bits of their clothing
The knee pads are great too, really comfy & blue a nice change from Black pads
But be sure, we know how to spell Pilgrim, just not able to correct this post, when it is published by pinkbike on the front page.
