For those of you who know anything about sledding, Brett Turcotte will not be a foreign name. Brett has been a figure head in the sport for many years, and has some impressive titles to show for it such as multiple movie segments, being a 5 time X Games competitor, an X Games silver medalist, and winning the Canadian snow cross championship. On top of all this Brett is also a multi sport athlete, and is a very capable motocross rider, as well as mountain biker.
With so many sports and responsibilities it can be hard to attend to all of them. When Lone Wolf Productions first contacted Brett about shooting he had not been on a mountain bike in over a year. However, we knew that his athletic ability would shine through and with a considerable amount of freedom and faith given to us by Giro we decided to make a section that would take us through his 2013 comeback season.
Brett had always ridden a hard tail and was primarily a dirt jump rider. I suppose it should have been no surprise that when I lent out my downhill bike to Brett he would obviously be very comfortable on it. His experience on big machines with lots of travel made throwing a downhill bike around very easy, and within one day he was drifting corners and charging steep lines like he had been riding downhill bikes for years. It was clear that Brett's season was about to take an unexpected turn.
Brett quickly sought out a full suspension bike and in the mean time borrowed any bike he could get his hands on. His focus on dirt jumps quickly faded as he began to hone his skills on a downhill bike. By the end of the season it was clear that Brett's style had evolved to create a more well rounded rider. For Brett and us at Lone Wolf Productions it was an amazing season and a great adventure. We left Brett at the end of his mountain bike season and the beginning of his sled season, but we hope to see more of Brett in 2014, keep it pinned!

You silly silly person. I am not saying I don't believe in a divine spirit that created everything, I just don't believe in "GOD" (who in most pictures looks shockingly like us) creating everything. Why would he? Just for fun? Seems like a lot of work to me, seeing as by definition if you believe in him, he does have to do everything. I mean with all the answering prayers, and giving babies in Africa aids, and blessing America, and creating bit of himself to die on a cross for our sins that sounds like a lot of shit to do.
I actually find it hilarious that you bring up the stars, because that is my favourite part of science and the world (and it just gets even more epic when you throw in psychedelics). You see I'm not sure if you know this, but you are star stuff. So is your family, your phone, your home, your car, the Earth, the moon, and everything else you've ever seen. Its all star stuff. Or stardust, whatever you call it, it really doesn't matter. But all the atoms you will ever come in contact with, were forged in the middle of stars. Then in a supernova, scattered across the Universe where they clumped into more stars, and then planets. And some how a few (probably) of those planets had the ingredients for life. Some of that life evolved to a point where it could start to discover this fact, and do all sorts of cool shit too, like have an internet, cell phones, cars, BIKES, rockets that fly to the moon. All created by us. From our brain. Which evolved from single celled life.
I"m not claiming to understand everything, if anything I'm claiming the opposite. I don't think anyone of us ever could. And thats how I know you are wrong.
Rant over.
Peace
weather you want to believe one thing or a another is your decision not mine, even reading this is your decision. I hope to see ya on the trail sometime maybee then we can talk more about this. I don't claim to know everything neither but this is what i believe.
I cannot and do not claim to know if a theistic God exists or not, but it is very hard for me to see how if such a God did exist we could consider it moral. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this though if you have any.
