As both a motocrosser and a mountain biker. I'd like to say that, while similar in many ways. I'm not pushing for a hybrid of sorts. Therefore, myself and others who follow in our combined passions Should not be held accountable for the electric bike trend. The ebike in my opinion, is a double edged sword. While for most of the street fairing commuters. It can be a good thing. Affordable and much less damaging to the environment than a car. Not to mention the ease on traffic, fuel consumption, and an added health benefit when the battery dies. on the trails I feel that it should only be permissible on fire roads or to those who have physical deficiencies. Let's be honest. The real enemy are the hikers!

I may have been in the traffic when they shot that scene. I remember looking up and seeing someone on a mountain bike and thinking. "I would have never thought to take a bike on that trail. Is that full suspension bike too??"
