Enduro 29s are bicycle monster trucks.

 extremely playful ones ^^^^

He rides Enduro 650B, even though he was contemplating 29er for a moment. He was third fastest amateur on this years Trans Provance. He and his buddy Manfred (he went for Stumpy 29) are nutters, they are riding 6h a day on trails I manage to do 3h max in my best form. I have their picuters at my desk at work...

Where was the hucking? I saw some great riding don't get me wrong but not any hucks.
  • 12 5
That last hit was a pretty decent huck I would say!!
  • 23 2
I was hoping to see a huck off of or over a monster truck. Imagine my disappointment.
  • 3 5
monster trucking would imply going straight through the section . this is not the case ie. see 31 seconds . a example of hucking would be WITH OUT a landing or transition ie the rest of the video
  • 10 2
Yeah, rider was clearly using skill and line choice. To monster truck he needs to turn that shit off and pound through chunky stuff without steering. Wink
  • 5 0
^^^ Oh hell yeah, now we are talking! Wade killing it!
  • 8 1
Tough crowd here. I enjoyed it.
  • 3 2
I don't know. I feel like a hypothetical 29" DHer would be more like said monster truck.
  • 1 0
@choppertank3e Classic Video! Marzocchi at its peak with the Monster T, and flatter landings that would kill any lesser fork.
  • 1 0
@choppertank3e You sir, are a saint.
  • 2 2
I'd say Fat Bikes are monster trucks of MTB... 4" tyre with outer diameter of a 29er.
  • 1 1
Wow. Okay, @WAKIdesigns I think these hypothetical bikes are getting out of control.
  • 1 1
Darn it, I meant regular Fat Bikes with 26" rims, the outer diameter of their tyres are like 29" wheel or even bigger

I came for monster trucks. I was disappointed.
  • 9 5
I was entertained none the less !
  • 2 1
 Yep, my exact thaughts
  • 11 4
 ^^^ What is a "thaught"?
  • 13 0
@aoneal 'dude' you yanks...pffft.. that, sir, was ENGLISH... *checks dictionary*

This is awkward.
  • 37 2
I saw no hucking or monster trucking.
  • 35 4
Wow, I really expected more hucking....Someone needs to watch some old Bender Sender clips and get inspired.
  • 9 1
 Needs more huck2flat
  • 15 1
and monster trucks... what the hell is this clickbait PB!?
  • 18 3
I think the title is misleading. Otherwise video is just too short, great riding!
  • 13 1
The rear coil shock looks sexy
  • 10 1
Not much hucking.. . Or rock gardens to monster truck
  • 7 0
I hate the unplanned aerial unclip. It's scary. He's lucky that wasn't a more sizeable tree.
  • 1 0
Aaaaand thats why I wear flats, trees move on my trails I swear.

 Video: Hucking and Monster Trucking
A trail can be ridden in so many ways. Up, down, cruising, flat out, skidding, drifting, wheelie, hucking. All ways are good - just have fun with it.

Skidding used to be a no-no cause we used to like having nice trails. . . not anymore though.

You know you're about to watch an Enduro rider when you see a dropper post and Norrøna shorts ;D

funny how a small air and tiny tweak need to get the slow-mo,wide angle treatment on a 29'er.
  • 6 3
loved it. who cares what the title said. shit was banging!
  • 4 2
Nice work, one of the better videos I've seen lately. You're racing amateur? Sandbagger get in line with the big boys.
  • 3 1
An Utterly brilliant video as usual Jon (Though I've come to expect nothing less with your edits...)
  • 2 1
That did nothing to convince me that an enduro bike can take the place of my V10.....not that thats what the general marketing push is these days.
  • 2 2
Why is he dropping a "dropper" seat post?!?! That's the dumbest thing I ever saw. So basically he didn't by the correct length seat, now it's 30mm to long. He bought a 120mm instead of a 150mm. Haha Lame.
  • 2 1
I'm 6'4 and have to do this. Friends think im nuts, but in order to get proper leg extension with a 150 post I have to raise it for climbs.

I find that the right height for climbing is too high for descending, thus I'm forced to then drop it.

Definitely annoying but better than seat up my ass and/or inefficient pedal strokes / knee pain.
  • 2 0
 Same!
  • 3 2
I was expecting a Wade Simmons marz truck gap! All I saw was enduro pedal wheelies.
  • 1 0
Dammm Flying you're fast. Huck that tree for sure!! We have all been there!
  • 2 1
Was that an accidental unclip whilst trying to whip?
  • 3 2
Jon, Is the vid supposed to be password protected?
  • 3 1
Yes, password protected until the release which is on Monday 20th.
  • 2 2
Cheers, Wasn't sure. I'm looking forward to it already...
  • 1 1

  • 1 2
Huckin' & monster truckin'? I've done suckin' & fvckin' gnarlier than that! :/ Bury this kinda shit on the MFYM page will ya PB?

  • 2 1
 Schysste
  • 8 10
When you read the title you expect to see Kenny Smith or Adam Brayton etc going mad for it, not this huck-less, "enduro" pish
  • 1 2
I'm I the only person who noticed that they edited out one of the "ticks" at the end of the edit to fit it with the music?
  • 2 3
If I rode like that my pedally bike wouldn't last a week... He was hucking, for sure!
