This place as a haven for drug deals etc. till a dedicated group of mountainbikers (check out Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance online) pushed for it, raised a jillion dollars, then donated thousands and thousands of hours of labor and materials to completing it. You too can have one just like it if you've got the Chutzpah and motivation... (an overpass that is about 13 lanes wide located on a hill wouldn't hurt either.)

wilsoffe, you have clearly never been to colonnade. riding a bmx there is the worst idea you could ever have. true, some of the lines there are rideable by bmx, but most of the lips, the terrain and the stunts were designed for an mtb. and i'm sure mike has a hardtail, and just wanted to go HUGE on the fully.

If I did go there I'd take a BMX as there is no such thing as a "lip designed for an MTB". Unless it has "Please use this lip if you are a humungous jeb-end" written on it.

Speaking from experience: just about everything there can be done on a dj bike with a shitty rear brake. But its more fun on a bigger bike with good brakes and a smooth platform.

That was weak!
there wasn't a single trick in that whole vid that amazed me.
i no he has been off his bike for 9 months but come on ffs its Mike Metzger!!
