How cool would that be: From a warm cup of coffee to shredding one of the best dh venues in the world on your trek session 88 in 20 mins. A life many of us can only dream of. Surely VOD.

WOW.... WOW! that would be one of the best videos I've seen on PB. everything seems just perfect, the editing, the riding, ... you name it!
Simply amazing!

My favourite bit was when they doing all the maintenance on the brakes whilst talking about how the whole ethos of saints was no maintenance. The Irony. But yer really nice overall vid!!!! Also, Saint Rocks.

The pads are changed. The lever reach adjusted with that nifty gold knob. Thats it. I think it shows of the brakes nicely.

i see. maybe i was reading into it too much then, i dont know. its still a little unfortunate that they had to change pads on the day of the shoot

i stand here today, to request that more people on this site, make videos of this standard.

innit yeah i mean my gloryhole came with a saint front mech and the only maintenance that it has needed is a quite tighten up because the cable slipped a little bit... hardly use it though to be fair.

Awsome VOD!!! There were some pretty sick camera angles too. I bet it feels wierd to have cameras where they were. Nonetheless, amazing video

did anyone hear the brakes making all that noise in the vid? I have nothing against saint brakes, but i don't think it is good for marketing to talk up your brakes, then show a clip of someone riding on them while they are squealing.

all those new camera angles were GREAT! and the slo mo was sick too
I read all the comments on here already looking but, Does anybody know the SONG?

i've ridden my saints in the poring rain and they haven't squealed a bit,i think some of you guys need to try and different pad compound..

From some of the guys above finding it ironic about they are fixing their bikes and saying saint require zero maintenance ur spoons. Its showing the lever reach adjuster with no tools needed (easy adjustments) and the pads coming out super quick (easy removal). Its not ironic.

olynch - finally someone else isn't retarded!
you're gunna have to change pads with any brakes and it takes a split second for him in that vid. and yeah the lever adjustment is a 1-time set up
all these guys talking about them doing maintenance must be the 12 year olds that just come on here to lip people off and try to make themselves look good or something

actually, no. i for one misunderstood what they were doing because i wasnt paying much attention as i was waiting for some riding to happen. i think its fair to say that most people who were saying its ironic thought the same as me.
that said, ive not personally checked the ages of all the people who have left comments here, so maybe youre right, they could all be 12 year olds- just dont jump to frankly patronising conclusions, and move on.

Actually I made the original comment and I know that all they were doing was normal stuff that happens with all brakes. The reason they did it was simply to show off the brakes as this is an advert for saint after all. So yes it's not a negative thing at all, I just thhought the timing was funny.

if you ride seymore everyday you would find out where this trail is... so sick, vod right here, 4 of the best things in mountain biking; shore, shimano, simmons, shandro

the stopper (by the hose) on my saint lever snapped off causing the guide for the roller on the under side to crack!! sending them back to get repared. dont know if it will be under warenty because i cant find a warenty manuel anywere, but it should be!!
ill post back to let you know how it went down.

Nice video, great editing, and a few original ideas that I had not seen in a bike video before. Those ideas will be sure to crop up on future videos. An interesting watch, indeed.
Saint brakes rock. 4 piston power. I have 'em, and love 'em. A great advertisement, so I guess the idea behind the video is actually working.

I did not notice a continuity problem. Wade has the phone in his right hand. Shandro in his left.

yh it does; rocks, moss, cedar trees, high humidity, and wooden features - So pretty much exactly what they were riding no?
- + 1
it refers to the northern shore of vancouver where those kind of trails grew up. wooden features are (or were) something exclusive to that area, so thats the thing picked up on most and why wooden features are now called 'Northshore features'. Theres more to a north shore trail than just the boardwalks and ladders.
