This summer, Louis Lhomel (
NS Bikes), Parappa (
NS Bikes) & Matt Macduff (
Octane One) went on one of the most out of control trips they've been on in years! The goal was to explore key major cities in the province of Quebec other than Montreal. With a tight schedule (5 days) and variable weather, they chose to head up to the old and beautiful Quebec City and one of the best street riding cities they've hit yet, Sherbrooke.
Eventhough Quebec City had truly amazing street spots, it was flooded with security guards everywhere and made it really hard to film, so the boys didn't stick there too long. On the road to Sherbrooke, they stumbled upon an abandoned quarry and couldn't resist sending a couple gainers into it! Once they got to Sherbrooke everything just set into place; crazy street spots, no security guards and the best guide/best person ever,
Pierre-Marc Tremblay! The boys were so stoked they called up Sam Croteau (
NS Bikes) & Kent Woods (
NS Bikes) to show up and shred for a day or two!
All in all, the trip's unforgettable vibe represents the true friendship here at LamaCycles. We hope this video gives you the urge to trip around with your best friends in the winter and next summer to discover new destinations, great locals and build lifetime friendships! Enjoy!

Louis scopping out the high ledge for some nose manual action.

First try didn't go as planned.

360 tuck no-hander in the bank for Parappa.

Clocking clips.

Fast and stylish wallride to euro for Louis.

Louis' latest trick invention, "La Boulette"!

Parappa not sure if this very tight wallride is possible.
Parappa doesn't seem to have a problem getting in tight stuff!

We'll always have rampage and the FMB to stress out over.

This is how a street video should look: no b.s. intro, creative lines, effortless style.
LOL
"You need small bikes to do these tricks " anymore............ Fact: MTB can do 90-95% of what BMXers can.
***My Prediction: BMX will go extinct in the next 100 years***
By the way people use word "hate" too much these days... I don't believe one can actually hate someone without knowing personally. Hate is ultimate feeling...
But I still enjoy riding a mtb on the streets much more than riding a bmx on the streets. Generally I prefer to watch bmx edits tho, but that doesn't say I dislike watching mtb edits. You always know you're going to see some great stuff when riders like Adam Hauck, Ludwig Jäger, Cody Gessel, Matt Macduff, Matt Jamieson, Anson Wellington, Gary Elliot etc are riding.
Great job calling people in this discussion out on their writing skills.
There's nothing wrong with the writing here, I understood all of it. Maybe it's just your brain being incapable of processing what you've read?
Also more than half the people who posted here don't have English as their mother languague, so you shouldn't judge our writing like you'd judge that of another American.
For me for example, English is not my mother languague, it's not even my second languague. It's my third (out of 4) languagues that I can speak fluently and write well.
How many other languagues next to English can you speak/write in as well as we do?
None?
Would you like me to recapitulate what I've said or did you understand it this time?
About the Chase videos you've posted. There are only 2 big wheeled street soldiers I can think of who have a similar style like that. For that reason these are also 2 of my favourite street riders on mtb:

Local unknown (yet) kid that recently got hooked up by a distributor (free tubes and a shirt kind of deal) and he already has more skills, balls and creativity than anything shown in the video above. Good song choice as well and most important, he doesn't act like a goon.
If this doesn't illustrate why I don't like WATCHING mtb street I don't know what will.
Who the f@ck cares, bmx, mtb, 20, 24, 26, dare I say 29r.
Ride what you ride…. as long as you keep riding street - and don't wear spandex.
騎的好熱血啊~

This is so much more enjoyable to watch than Sean Burns IMO. He has 100x as much skills and 100x as much style and flow, and more creativity. Definitely worth a watch
I ride a mtb for street because I grew up mountain biking, so I'm more familiar with the geometry of it. I've never been able to get comfortable on a bmx bike.
