Whistler is home base, The opening of the bike park is what we count the days down until and wait for at the start of every season. Each year is as familiar as the last, yet some how there always seems to be something new! Take a look and see how we've seen the Whistler Bike Park this season. I think it is only right that we start the release of Segments with the place we know best!

Segments will be revealed over the coming weeks in its entirety. Each week we will be releasing another piece of the film showcasing new riders, new zones and another little piece of our 2013 season.

That drift on that rock face was INSANE.....sorry kinda random but seriously I can't stop picturing trying that next time I'm there!  Kovarik is absurd. There was literally no wheel strong enough to survive his race runs at Mt. Snow. I was there 3 years in a row and he exploded his rear wheel two years in a row and finished the third on one so warped, he could barely get through the finish. The originator of Beast Mode!

 When the video began I felt pretty comfortable with the familiar content. Well known trails with above average riding- this is the recipe for a great video. Than WHAM, out of nowhere the last segment starts like a bat out of hell. Just as you're trying to find your jaw from that nose manual he starts sliding everywhere like some drift trike champion. What on earth is happening? Freaking VOY, that's what is happening...

 I can only dream about going to Whistler so I have to live by the video's of others maybe someday before I get way to old I'll get to ride Whistler. Keep on posting Vids of Whister and other awesome bike parks.

 Been a long time since I've seen Kovarik on a WC podium. But DAYUM if he can't just one-up every WC rider with only 50sec of footage from his pseudo-home turf. That scrub is a work of art.

 He's done sicker....We rode the last drop in Schleyer and he nosed down the slab into the forest... "bloody hell" is what you hear me saying on the video afterwards.
My secondary thoughts were that it was time for me to learn how to ride a bike now. :O/

 I agree that hard work and dedication play a HUGE roll, but something has to said for natural talent to start with, and this man has lots of it.

 It all depends on what your definition of natural talent is too. I think having an ability to see what you are doing right/wrong and then improve upon it is a natural talent all of its own. If you are able to analyse what you are doing well you can learn how to do almost anything if you dedicate the time to it. I was always "naturally talented" at sports involving balls (not gay) and watched as other guys became better than me as we got older. I never really realised they were training ridiculously hard in the background while I was just standing still. Talent and hard work is the mother load!
