PRESS RELEASE: Bluegrass

Our riding experience is not just about the trails, the bike, the weather, or the company! It's also about feeling confident and free in every move we make.

That's why we've refined our knee and elbow pads to offer better comfort, perfect stability, and more protection.

Our new range of knee pads is based on two levels of protection: LEVEL 2 / TYPE B.
photo
WHAT IS LEVEL 2?
Level 1 and Level 2 are certification grades based on the protector's energy dissipation performance. 3 impacts are required on each protector in the central and side areas. To get Level 2 certification the average result of those impacts should not exceed 20kN, ensuring a minimum of 40% improvement in energy dissipation compared to a Level 1.
photo
WHAT IS TYPE B?
Type A and Type B define the minimum impact-tested area of the protector, effectively indicating how much the pad safely covers the joint. Type B-certified protections provide 39% more coverage on knees.

 But, still pretty terrible. Black product on what is still basically a black background. Frustrating. They still make it tough to really tell what these look like in "real life".

 @KennyWatson: if you are having a hard time seeing the details in the product shots you might wanna have a chat with your optometrist and make sure you are still safe to be driving at night time.

 How about 3000$ for 9 staples and a good flushing. Wish I was wearing my 150$ knee pads that day

 Noooo, don't have the logo pointing the same way! I have a pair of their knee pads and the logo direction (points inward on both legs) is the quickest and easiest way to see which is left and which is right. I get that switching the logo around may be seen as brand-bastardisation, but in this case it's really useful brand-bastardisation!

 Would like to try the 3Straps, because the G-form Mesa's were hot garbage, but there's like 5 dealers in the US and only one of their sites loads, and they don't have the new pads on their site.

 Continental Xynotal. Please consult a professional mechanic before using Xynotal. Xynotal is not recommended for muddy or wet conditions. Side effects of using Xynotal include, but are not limited to: grip failure, premature wearing, and possibly death.

 @Puneta: hah! Comment gold

 @Puneta: All jokes aside, Xynotal Enduro Soft is my favorite tire (front or rear) for loose over hard NorCal trail riding and it does everything better than a Dissector.
