Cracking tree branches, rustling leaves and that nerve-wracking feeling of not being alone on the trail. Night rides in the woods can be scary at the best of times, especially during those long and dark Autumn nights when every noise and movement seems even more frightening than normal!
Happy Halloween from all of us at Norco Bicycles and Live to Play Sports.
Yeah, the first night ride of the season always freaks you out. The woods have eyes. Literally. On a serious note: having a bear bell on your bars really calms your mind. There is a constant "human" noise and you'll see less animals. I mean I don't mind watching some racoons in the trees but there are definitely encounters I don't wanna experience...
Jesus, riding at night is definitely more terrifying than having some clown leave balloons on the trail. would rather have a fist fight than go over the bars on some sneaky root i didn't see.
After coming across a treed cougar cub on my last night ride (and knowing momma was watching me closely) I don't need THIS on my mind, too!!!! Thanks a lot!!!
