Bright Racing Shocks F929 Next-3RC: The Evolution
Oh yeah, Seb‘s gonna love this air spring, hahaha. At least they took care of the topout issue, still a very questionable approach imo, to put it diplomatically. USD makes sence, don‘t forget Intend. The front to back stiffness is far superior to conventional forks (that‘s why preferred on motorcycles, hard braking) as is the binding behaviour under braking or in general. Torsion is a different story, but can also be an advantage in certain situations. Contrary to popular believe unsprung mass is tyically not lower on USD. So before I would buy a heavy ZEB or 38, I would much prefer an Intend bandit or something similar, purely based on technical aspects, ignoring prices. I would love to see a mass market USD enduro fork.

Albatross Bikes Announces the Apogee Module
@shirk-007: No, not really. At first I thought that too, but is actually a normal single pivot with link setup with 4 sets of bearings. The left „link“ is actually part of the rear triangle. Snd it is quite clever to habe the shock and the link all attached to those nice (hopefully forged) Aluminium brackets, so there is no huge shock load on the tubes. Because this is where cracks normally start, shock mount or link mount. And it is steel, which is amazeballs in the plastic century…

Wow, so the same weight compared to my 6 years old, über flashy, super exclusive, cheap af descendant gxp alu cranks. Expensive cranks are defo the most worthy upgrade of them all, soo much gaaaiin.

Less Wires, More Gold Dropper Post Roundup - Taipei Cycle Show 2023
@CallumRD1: The word you were looking for is proportionally, but that is also very wrong in this case. Example: if a 400mm post has 150mm of travel, a 200mm travel post needs to be 533mm long to be proportional. It‘s the ratio, that needs to be the same. In this case it is just a growth by an absolute value. Sorry for partying.
