The bikes may look completely different but a lot of the riders from 2010 are still plying their trade on the circuit today. We've gone back a decade in the archives to set this fiendish quiz with one simple question - can you guess the riders in the pictures? With different sponsors, kits and younger faces, it's not as easy as it sounds. Most of these riders are still racing today so you should be able to take a good guess at most of them and we've gone from easy to hard and if anyone gets all of the last few right we'll be seriously impressed.

Unfortunately that seemed to happen a lot in his last racing years. Dude was a weapon, but I remember a series of serious, unfortunate, injuries that ended up with him stepping away from the scene, simply because he just couldn't take it anymore.
There was a pretty interesting interview somewhere around the webs
@sadfusde: The WC interviews with Matti were always the greatest. So chill you could swear he was smoking something, however his bike riding skills always said otherwise! It's too bad we don't see many (if any?) WC racers from Scandinavia anymore.
Can't help thinking how much the concussion protocol has changed in ten years. I read under Stevie photo that he had a concussion but yet two days later full gazz on the tracks.
Nowadays I believe we protect riders much more, which is a good thing. (At Crankworx they take it very seriously).
@jamessmurthwaite: I just kept saying “Sam Hill or Peaty” over and over. The closest I got was Minnaar I thought it was Peaty. Both tall lanky Syndicate guys and it is a rear view picture so I’m calling it a win.
At this time i was 12 years old and and i was a huge fan of Troy Brosnan, Sam Hill and Brendog and first startet riding downhill Remember the Trees or the Forest Section in Leogang at the DH-Track
Matti crashed into retirement. A gifted rider that simply took to many chances and rarely found any luck. I’m sure James Smurthwaite could have found another pic in the archives that didn’t highlight Matt’s Achilles Heel. He won a WC in 2007. Rode with Greg on Honda. Really James. Rude.

Answer: No, no I can not.
