That seems like a really good Idea for a road bike every road pump out there sucks, and imagine the angry looks from snobby roadies just for that alone is worth it.
@stab0905: yes, like math and aproximation and stuff. Get å camera and the f-stop numbers double the aperture area for each step. Also why some put parabolic tip on The low speed needle tip to get even size adjustment clicks.
@sngltrkmnd: Backwards in the tapering sense. The hole is supposed to be the widest point : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NACA_duct The ones on that ‘02 look like somebody saw them once, didn’t really understand them and then made a copy from memory.
Ibis is crushing it with their lineup. I bought the hd4 after demoing many bikes and feel like they hit a homerun with that one. Their mojo3 does a phenomenal job of turning dull trails into something you actually want to ride (very much like the 5010). Now a long travel 29er that fits 2.6’s and looks darn sexy?? What’s next??
Drop bar gravel bike that can run a dropper. Shut up and take my money!
Hmmm. I'm torn here. On the one hand I can't stand sanctimonious virtue signallers attempting to obtain their frisson of superiority, OTOH I love hip packs and ride with them all the time and don't like to seem them disparaged.
@preston67: I'm torn too.. To keep posting in the shock wave of stupidity of all this or keep enjoying riding my bike with my current hip pack and stop looking at all the Mission Workshop goodies I can't afford..
@RLEnglish: no you just threw sht and missedmany times. At some point someone got some bits of it on them. The issue is, you got all covered in it while throwing it around. Serves you right, aye?
Wonder what I need to have more? a waterbottle that need on every ride or a pump that hope I never need, BUT WHEN it is one or other is not a good compromise?
@WAKIdesigns: when it comes to pure eyecandy yeti wins hands down...always drool over their frames at my local dealer but pf is a nogo for me and the infinity switch i dont know what to think
I have nothing against gravel bikes, in fact I think 99% of road bike owners would be better off with one. So I think they are the best road bikes. But dropper post? That’s like bottle mount on a DH bike... you can but should you?
@WAKIdesigns: I’ve ridden a fair bit of sketchy dirt on my road bike and there are times the “optimal” road height is way too high on sketchy stuff, a 40-50mm drop would be ideal. A gravel bike with a dropper would be even better but it would delay my next mtb even more and be more of a compromise for most of my road riding
Dropper post and drop bars on one bike... sorry, there’s a giant error here - No saddle bag. I hope it doesn’t happen again because they lost me there.
Pizza, camera or suspension, pi dont care!
