IMPORTANT

• Ensure you only have ONE profile that you register for races with - multiple profiles don't work for series points
• You will get a confirmation email after registering | You will get an email approximately 1 week before the race giving you all the details of the race. With that being said, you should book your accommodation now.
• Non-Canadian Residents must provide valid proof of emergency travel medical insurance at the registration table, before being permitted to race.
• Concussion Baseline Testing | Look for more information on this in a little while, I'm working with Advance Concussion Clinic to create a program for you guys to get baseline concussion/cognitive testing. I will really be encouraging U21 riders to get this. You old guys drink too much beer but as Wu-Tang said, "Protect yah head" (okay they said neck).
• U21 Categories (even short course) have mandatory full face helmets for all races.

REGISTER FOR 5, AND GET 6!

This year we decided to do away with the promotion package of a free jersey if you registered for the whole series, rather, I thought you deserved something a little more, like a FREE RACE. So here it is. If you register for 5 or more races, we'll give you a 6th race for free, it's like saving $100!

How to Redeem:

• Select 6 races at registration - you must select 6 races, if you choose more or less than 6, the discount will not work.
• If you want to race more than 6 races, simply register for your 6 races first to get the discount, then register for the remaining races after, and kudos to you, you're an animal!
• Once you're at the cart, the discount will be applied to all of the races and you're good to go! Happy Trails!

MEC Canadian National and BC Enduro Series
Don't forget to take advantage of our 5 race promotion. If you register for 5 races, you'll get a sixth race for free!

EWS QUALIFIERS

Fraser Valley and Sun Peaks Resort, have both been confirmed as EWS Qualifier Series races, Blue Mountain is pending and we're hopeful it will be added in. So what does this mean? Competing at these races will give you points that you can put towards becoming an athlete on the EWS Reserved list, once on the list, you'll no longer have to apply to the EWS Lottery to get an entry to ANY EWS Race; additionally, The winner in each official EWS category at every Qualifier Series will also be automatically added to the Reserved List. This is really important as a stepping stone for serious enduro racers, your participation in these races not only puts you in contention for the Canadian Title, but allows further opportunities to make that next jump onto to the world stage, without having to break the bank!

IMPORTANT

•CATEGORIES | When you select EWS Qualifier Races, you'll be prompted to select your CNES category and your EWSQ Category. EWSQ Categories are | Men, Women, Master Men 40+, U21 Men and U21 Women
•EMBA MEMBERSHIP | Riders wishing to accumulate points or be entered onto the reserved list, must purchase an Enduro Mountain Bike Association membership. You can do that here.
•POINTS | Riders will also get MEC Canadian National Enduro Series Points

I wonder if I can make it seeing as my only bike is a DH... Should I just pack some runners and run up the climbs or should I wait a few more years and buy myself the enduro of my dreams...?

 Some stops... sure.

Last year, the Sun Peaks stop had one large climb in it and that was it. You could probably take your time with that and hike-a-bike it over several hours. Once you did that, the rest was lift service. You probably could have used a DH rig that day and finished on time.

Other stops? Not so much. At the Kamloops stop there were no shuttle/lift access portions, it was 100% pedaled. You wouldn't have a hope in hell of finishing on a DH bike that day...

Ted will have to check me on this but I think last year some dude chucked a single crown and a dropper post on his DH rig and crushed people on the stages.
