Video: Brendan Fairclough and Amaury Pierron Kick Up a Dust Storm in Episode 3 of 'A Dog's Life'

Mar 26, 2020
by SCOTT Sports

In Episode Three of “A Dog’s Life” Brendan Fairclough heads down to South Africa with Amaury Pierron to show us what happens when you place two of the world’s fastest Downhill MTB Racers and put them on some private DH tracks. Rumor has it that the dust they roosted will be in the earth’s atmosphere for years.

Is Brendog immune to the corona since he is technically a dog?? Sick shredit boys, I agree this is unfair to have to watch when we are on orders to chill out the rides..

Some WC riders, like Loic and Greg Minaar, look completely in control and super smooth when they’re actually going warp speed.

Then there’s Amaury, who looks like he’s hauling ass because he is, in fact, hauling ass.

 This is a good description.

I normally prefer watching riders on single crowns since they're more playful, but maaaan, this was absolutely incredible! If only there was a 2x favourite button.

Ok, last time i tried this, its didn't work out. Back in the day I popped off down the shops and bought myself a Donnay "Borg Pro" racket after yet another fantastic win at SW10 by my favourite Swede. Alas the new racket did not make me play like my long haired (underpants modelling) Scandi hero. So............. if at first you don't succeed, try again. This time, if I go buy a Gambler (or is it a Session.... hats of Scott for that comp they ran), will a 50 something XC boy (with hairy legs) be able to transform himself into a DH hooligan.

As always, great vid Brendog. Dam, I've got myself a "man crush" on Amaury. peace and be safe all

 Man, you do you.

@SCOTT-Sports: respect for not caring about "promoting" your bikes! Love the fairplay here!

@dumr666: get a dh bike and you will, indeed, transform to a DH hooligan. There's a lot more hooliganism that can be achieved by a combining send-mindset and a DH bike than tennis skill that can be achieved by pairing limited tennis skills and a nice racket.

@SCOTT-Sports: think Bren needs a pay rise

I'm riding my bike in circle at home, and practice trackstanding. I can already do it with only one hand on the handlebar, I plan no hand before the end of the confinement !

Tip of the hat to Brendog for riding at pace with only 3' (approx 100cm) of visibility with all that french roost!!

This location is also perfect. The missus could go the the vintards tasting room while I take a few laps.
