Pinkbike Primer: Everything You Need to Know Ahead of the Mairiporã World Cup 2024
Spending time in the camper van around France, Switzerland, Germany and Austria over the last few years, you can’t underestimate how many people ride xc. They love it! Whole family saddling up at the campsite and heading off for a 5hr ride in the Vosges etc. Most areas have a really good trail marking system for people to follow and explore the area, it’s awesome. Enjoyed taking breaks from the lifts here and there to check them out.
So yes, it really wouldn’t surprise me if the viewing figures were higher than our beloved DH.

She only hints at it here but there is a big problem with high level female athletes and over training meaning they stop having periods, Evie talks about it more on a BBC article this week. It just seems to be accepted as the norm, what you 'have' to do to make it but national coaching and teams need to be more focused on their wellbeing.
