I hope we see Jack on top for a while. He seems to be a good role model for the youngsters. Humble, bike skills, and a capable all world athlete. Plus the shark attack thing and coming from down under add to the legend in the making qualities of this guy.

I cannot believe how much pros can "straighten out" the trail. The cumulative distance I would have ridden on this stage would have been close double what Jack did (in 6x the time).

look at his front wheel and not his gopro. Often the pros will use trees etc to turn where we use the slippery dirt and cant turn. He straightens some parts, but not that much. The pure fitness and power required for this stage look insane, especially that top section.
