 @trekstp-half: In a bike check within the last couple of years I spotted the factory-applied warranty sticker still on one of Peter Sagan's bikes. Specialized has the capability to make frames in-house for prototyping but it would seem they don't use it for team bikes, or at least not always.

 Given that Absolute Absalon (BMC) just signed the only person to hold the XC, Road and CX stripes at the same time, who is also the current world champ, and has 6x the followers, I think BMC/AA will be OK.

 They're probably stoked to have PFP, but I'm sure the team would've liked to keep Sarrou and his rainbow jersey this season as well.

 @bigkev123 Kate Courtney did the same thing in reverse... Won her Rainbow Stripes on an Epic and moved to a Spark the next season. I know what you're getting at. Especially with a young rider you've brought up over numerous years in your development program. It can't be a good feeling but, tis the way of the world. Bite the bullet and move on.

 I think most people understand that all the companies design great bikes - I usually have my fave riders but I choose bikes based on a lot of other factors. Looks and price mostly.

 Hatherly and Andreassen on Cannondale for 2021

 @hollowing2000 Been wondering the same thing ever since Annika announced her retirement.
In the pipeline they've got Haley Batten at 22 and Laura Stigger and even though she did some races with the Elites in 2020 she's only 20 years old. I don't think Jenny is going to join the factory team. From everything I've read/heard she is very happy doing her Team 31 thing and being supported. There is a possibility that they won't do anything and just wait until the youngsters come of age. ???

As for the gents. Not sure what's going to happen with Pidcock racing XC since he joined the Ineos Grenadiers back in September. They ride Pinarello's who don't make MTB's so there wouldn't be a conflict there.
As far as Ineos OK'ing him racing XC.... I don't know..... we'll see.
Simon Andreassen & Alan Hatherly are gone. It looks like Christopher Blevins will be staying.
That's all I could piece together at this juncture. Hoping for a better/longer 2021 season.

 @Augustus-G: Blevins has been shipped off the Specialized Factory team. He is racing for Team Trinity in 2021. It would be nice to see Blevins focus 100% on racing bikes in 2021. He has various interests including school and music/poetry. At one time I was hoping he would be the USA answer to MvdP because he was racing road, CX and MTB.

 @PapaStone: Thanks for the update. Just looked at their media release from 21-Dec.
Looks like they picked up 4 MTB riders for the 2021 season. Blevins, Batten, Chiara Teocchi and Alex Malacarne. My first thought was Pidcock leaves and they pick up these four young riders.
I don't know much about Trinity but it looks like they're really working at establishing themselves in Road, CX & XC cycling and they're a Specialized supported team. Thanks again for the heads up.

 Laura Stigger is probably worth a lot more now... And let's not forget Kerschbaumer, Marotte and Batty switching team..

 She's a diva, and she's got too much ego... Pretty good thing Sarrou left this team in my opinion. I wouldn't bear her all year long.
