The moon's atmosphere is similar to ours, and yes, you can breath there. You dont need some stupid suit or mask, you breath just like you do on Earth..

 amazing edit!!! the flag would be waving in space because: if you hit something in space it will carry on going until you stop it, so if the flag was nudged then it woldnt stop flaping around unless you stop it. thats the explanation i got eneway(correct if its wrong). thing i dont understand is why it would take nasa until 2020 to go back :? seeing as when they went in 1969 they had the same computing intelligence as a modern day calculator! but back to the pic.....awsome!  back then the reason to get to the moon was to stick it to the russians because of the cold war / arms race after WW2. And they pretty much established its just a rock so there is no point going back until they can test out long term things like living on the moon etc. plus the fact that its blooming expensive and the money can be put to much better use, like trying to f*ck over the world for oil!
