  • 90
did you guys see his barrel role bar?
  • 471
@ least your from the US; 2 cents isn't worth much these days. Smile
  • 40
the shot does look a bit average but the light coming through the tress looks good
  • 20
Zaprowsdower, i see what you're saying, but it is a pretty nice picture anyway.
  • 30
this photo is far from an "average snapshot".. it's really nicely framed, timing is spot on which is quite hard with tuck-no handers!! If it had a flash or two on the rider it would be a really great shot IMO.
  • 10
this is a great shot, like brock said the timing is good with some flash it wud look a lil better but its still a great pic
  • 20
Nice, props to the rider. Liking the coloursSmile
  • 31
"average shot"? He's doing a backflips tuck no hand ahaha
  • 50
Since when does POD come only from professional photographers? Anyone can criticize it's not hard to do.
  • 20
I'm not a pro photographer if that's what you're trying to say... I'd have liked to use a flash but I didn't have any triggers at the time and I was filming so it was on video mode.
  • 30
For a non proffesional photographer, i think that this is a really good effort and it got the photographer POD! So well done, Not my favourite type of riding, (Dirt jumping) now but still good picture, good skills, props to both...Smile

Actually I had the same problem shooting my buddies at our local jumps. The light coming through the trees pulls so much away from the subject.. a busy background is a bitch to deal with. But this pic has an amazing trick happening so it's cool!
  • 12
They definitely edited this photo or fixed the colors from this morning
  • 20
Actually no, it hasn't been touched...

Tree: *points at Nangle with branch* "YOU! Get down from there!"
Nangle: *throws arms out jestingly* "Whacha gonna do?! Fight me?!"
  • 21
this photo does have the colors red(wheel) yellow(frame) blue(wheel) and green(helm), primary colors upside down in the forest+no hands = pod obviously. the photographer and the camera could have taken a smoother silkier crisper shot, but they didn't need to to get where they are today. cry about it. ps i know green is not a primary color, its what you get when you mix frame and front wheel.

if you squint you Cant see the bike Haha
  • 10
my favorite trick! backflip nohander. looks cool if you look same time down and someone takes the photo from there (camera looking up in air)
  • 30
love his lid! nangle is pinned this season!
  • 75
That's nice.. but i don't think that is a very good POD :S
  • 20
such a nice bike, such a nice shot. well done !
  • 31
Impressive riding but the photo is too messy and the bike and the riders helmet are kinda lost in the background. Could be better, maybe in B&W?
  • 30
 Okay now thats cool!
  • 20
Think its deserving great trick props to the rider
  • 20
good to see a local POD Big Grin

Sometimes u just have to have a sic action shot, and i'm guessing that's what Ian was aiming for.
  • 20
I like that it's a sick action shot, but I also really like the look of it as well. In some ways it reminds me of a Bev Doolittle painting, the ones of horses where they're almost perfectly camouflaged in their surroundings. And sometimes I just like to see things as they are, without a whole bunch of flashes changing the look of it. I really like the discussion that is happening on this photo, I didn't put a comment on it and people are making their own. And there are some very well thought out comments being made about this.
  • 10
he looks more comfortable upside down no handed then most do sitting on a laz-e-boy
  • 10
Nice shot! I have the same camera.. hope some day make a nice work like this!
  • 21

I made this comment above, but here it is again:
