Camille Balanche Breaks Collarbone in Mont-Sainte-Anne Crash
MSA is sick but for me, Champery can’t be ignored either. I can’t wait for the worlds to return there.

Nerding Out: Do Kinematic Graphs Really Describe Suspension Performance?
You’re a lucky rider. My friend has the 180mm bike and it is just sublime. I haven’t met anyone who has actually spent any decent time on the system have a bad word to say about it. I only hope someone picks it up again in the future. I’m gutted that I never ended up being able to get one. I’m constantly on the lookout for either one of those second hand. The DH model is my perfect bike. I have no uplift so being able to climb to the top of the trail and still have an amazing ride with all that travel down is pretty valuable to me.

Nerding Out: Do Kinematic Graphs Really Describe Suspension Performance?
React to play is honestly the best suspension I’ve ever ridden. Genuinely amazing climbing ability and loads of travel to play with. Like a high pivot bike without the need for an idler, and impeccable climbing behaviour. I was gutted that my local polygon distributor never ended up restocking their bikes.

First Look: Pivot's New Shuttle SL is a Flyweight eMTB
I’m another Tenere rider who loves it. I nearly went with the KTM 690, but have no regrets about the Yamaha. I just ticked over 20,000km on it, I’m considering replacing it with a Ducati Multistrada for all the nice rider assistance systems. If the front radar can detect kangaroos/pedestrians I’ll definitely buy it. I mostly ride to work from my farm. In the colder months, Roos make it a nerve racking ride.

First Ride: 2023 Santa Cruz Nomad - Now With Mixed Wheels
Really disappointing to see 29” front wheel on this. Another bike to cross off the shopping list.

Pinkbike Primer: After 3 Years the DH World Cup Returns to Mont-Sainte-Anne
Same but with tonnes of other locations around the world. EWS does a LOT better in that regard.

First Look: The All-New Unno Dash
Headset cable routing matters to us, but sadly it won’t matter much to the people who buy these bikes. For more mainstream brands, I hope voting with our wallet works, but given the light availability atm, I’m willing to bet it won’t.

Industry Digest: Eurobike Attendance Down, Gary Fisher No Longer with Trek & More
I had one of their non intense full suspension bikes in the early to mid 00’s. It was fabulous value and rode great for the time. Occasionally I check back to see if they have any decent bikes, but on last visit they only really had commodity MTB’s.
