Hello Dave Review. So i was feeling bland riding my full sus with elevensix shock. Thought I’d reset with going hardtail. I had this romantic idea of going back to the core of mtb after 10 years of the old but worn teched out bike-shred-bro-bikepark thing. It was getting old and a cliche. Bought a used Dave and put my parts on it. So did I succeed? Did I find the mystical magical core? Somewhat I would say. The Dave is unapologetically hardcore enough that I can ride the same stuff as before. But the sensation of surfing steel over ruts and rocks are just pure heroin. I do get a really tired body though.. I thinks I am riding to lazy still, cause the full sus would save me. So the next stage in reaching trail nirvana is to change my riding style somewhat from standing on suspension and riding into stuff, to adjusting speed and stance to the trail. I simply had to good of a bike before, for anything but black trails, and so I just stood there and let the bike take the beatings. Now I have to adjust, so that I minimize beatings. Oh last thing.. The Dave can climb too. Way better than any full sus I’ve had.

How do you submit? i got some stuff laying around on different cards..

I like the format. Mixing a retro analog style, with the ability too scroll down is an ok compromise when print is getting rare. At least it's better than when you get a replica of a mag on screen. You then have to press to flip pages, and zoom in an out to read and study the layout and details, let alone to read it.. That ruins the best of both worlds.
