Lmao, 1st thought was similar. Light hearted videos and lopes don’t mix, shoulda took the chance to go grinch and show he could laugh at himself. I get it though, who wants a preflight champagne shower.
Should have been noted, this was filmed at Skypark Santas Village just outside of arrowhead, ca....pretty sick new bike park in Cali. www.skyparksantasvillage.com

@cuban-b: yes, many of us(at least 10) bought Skypark annual(calender year) passes rather than summit..sp is more suited for bikes other than dh(no lifts); skypark is year round; easier drive than ss.
Skypark is great. Real contrast to summit where braking bumps are ever present-- the trail crew at skypark has been out there watering, fixing lips, etc, literally every of the ~8 times i've gone. Not only that, but they're constantly adding features and making the trails more fun. Lots of wood going up lately. Worth every penny for the season pass!
Some pretty sick special effects in this edit. I like the part where he squeezed his Guide brake levers and it actually looked like he slowed down. How did they do that? Go santa!
Same way I do it, I imagine: don't contaminate the pads! Now, if you're saying the ability to actually squeeze the brake in Southern Califirnia sunshine, that is another matter entirely.
I have a confession: Guide RS came with my new bike. I read a lot of bad press with reliability and was on the verge just selling them going a different brand. But to be honest I love them. They have a lot more modulation, easy to bleed, and better brake lever feel then Formula and Zee's that have had tried. Have not had sticky brake levers yet!
@femto505: it takes about a season or so of hard riding and one blistering hot day in direct sunlight to make them sticky and then it just begins getting worse. It has happened to all 4 of my Guides. I am on 2nd rebuilds of my RS's that are 2 yrs old.
maybe pissed about Richie Schley forgetting to charge batteries
