That flooding is near the old old site, down Kolab Reservoir Road, not the new site. That said, I'm sure the road into the current site is pretty trashed.

Surely someone must be thinking of front-flipping that gap?! Kelly McGarry overshot by miles, so it must be possible..,? I hope that after last years weather problems that it all just happens. The effort these guys and gals have put in to make this event possible is phenomenal, so to be shutdown by weather for the second year running would be awful.

As much as we want this event to happen we must all want it to happen safely, surely?

That video looks to be at the campsite by the old old Rampage site (I camped there last year).

@busi98, weather sucks, can't do anything about it. It was a torrential downpour yesterday after they cancelled that second run of qualifiers, as well as this morning. The road by the house we're staying in in Hurricane was flooded in a part (could still cross, though), and the cliffs all around were waterfalls. Serious shit that is out of anyone's control

Yeah, I camped at that campground last year (the one from the first video). Pretty sure that video was taken from the spot I was at. So crazy down here. At least it's sounding like Aggy will get his second qualifying run!

Interviewing people is hard to do specially when popping questions out of your head...without asking a stupid question and then person to give a good answer without the question sounding stupid...

I know for a fact I could not do a interview on someone i'd look like a fool and I know I ain't the only one.

huh? First of all, this is the first time they've had lead in vids like this, second, Tippie is killing it! The man who brought this type of MTB to the table in the first place is getting interview nugs from people that are not easily reachable to the masses and probably for anyone else wouldn't want to talk, they must be pretty focussed and busy right now, plus he brings out the best interviews, because he's one of them, not some NBC brass. Thanks Pinkbike this is epic!
