I still have a pair of Roach shorts that I bought from Ingrid at a BC Cup race years ago. What a legend.

Video: Official Highlights from EWS Petzen-Jamnica 2022
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HuOQXpwTGw This is pretty brutal, how EWS is treating riders/content creators who want to record their race run... meanwhile they have no problem with their favourite pro's wearing cameras on race runs.

Now Finished: Ask Me Anything with Chris Ball on Organising Future World Cups
Interesting that most of the biggest sports in the world - Soccer, Football, Hockey, Baseball etc.... are on free to watch platforms and all parties involved seem to make a lot of $$$ plus the fans seem to love the teams, athletes and for the most part governing bodies. I wonder how they do that without putting it all behind a paywall?????

Team Behind the EWS To Lead Future World Cup Organisation with Warner Bros. Discovery
@stubestrong: That would be probably the best thing for the sport! Putting all race coverage behind a pay wall is only going to hurt mountain bike racing. Just when the youth are really starting to look at it as a "real" sport like football or basket ball. We all love it but in the big picture MTB racing is still really fringe in North America at least.

What’s the Significance of the Specialized Direct-to-Consumer Move? It’s Complicated.
@plustiresaintdead: Pretty simple... support the LBS that are doing it right and let the one that aren't know what your issues are. I am pretty sure that the majority of shops are trying to do it right. Killing the LBS is not good for the riding community anywhere.

Agree 100% scottyrides5 ! Those same Rad people also are usually the ones behind more trail systems, youth programs, community bike events and helping to promote bike related tourism in communities. Your LBS is more than just a place to pick up a bike.

Mountain Biker in Spain Shot After Being Mistaken for a Rabbit
@pourquois-pas: That is 100%, as someone who does hunt I think that this hunter should very least have to take some type of firearms re-education course. You never point... let alone pull the trigger at anything you don't want to put down. This is negligent discharge.

Story Time: Everything I Know About Bikes is Wrong
@henryquinney: I enjoyed the creativity of your article, I feel like you are touching on how a "newest geo" or "highest end" bike will no doubt make riding enjoyable as well as make you feel good about yourself and stoked to ride.... but don't get that confused with it meaning you are now a super shredder. Love of the sport and time in the saddle is what it takes. And as far as I can tell (after more than 25 yrs of mtb) no brand has the patent on that. So don't let not having the latest and greatest lessen your self belief in riding well. The ride is the thing.. not what bike you have.
