Just look at the tops speed for junior mens. Jackson top at 65.3 and Jordan at 64.4. One of the elite men got into the 64's and thats it. When they get stonger and tougher (physically/mentally) and are able to keep that type of speed going longer.... look out.

The worm will turn. Turning 49 this year. The older I get, the tougher it is to get my body moving from rest. Once I am up and running, I can still do things I could do in my 30s. The problem starts to show itself when I try to keep workout volumes and intensities high enough to keep the train rolling. The recovery times become an issue and you slowly lose some of what you had, simply due to reducing volume and intensity in order to cope with the body age and recovery needed. Not to mention the mental effort it takes to get up and running from rest. It is so much more difficult as you age, it becomes a mental game on top of the physical one. It all just becomes harder and harder. I see why some of your buddies start leaning on that "age" crutch.

Ever tried to pick one of those chairs up? They are from Costco and are made of super-dense plastic (to simulate wood). They weigh a ton. We got a couple in our yard, and I dread moving them when I gotta cut the lawn. All I can say is bend with your knees. :O

I am 6'3" on an XL Evil Offering. Its got a 430mm CS. I don't really notice any issues. It is exactly what the situation describe in this review. 430mm CS and 512mm Reach.... Big front end and short out back. I think the offering rips and is also super playful when I want it to be.

@Jollytime1208: You are making something out of nothing. They have all been out riding these trails for the program for a few weeks. They all have good knowledge of the trails they are riding by now.

Love this video! This style of video really emphasizes how steady Brett's head is when he rides. Watch again and marvel at how his bike and body move all over the place, but his head and eyes are so steady and laser-focused.

@Tinshield: I got the Factions on my Evil Offering. and run 2.5/2.3. Works great. I always told myself if I ever destroyed a rim, I would put a union up front and the faction out back. I think I might be waiting awhile. These seem pretty bomb proof.
