Pinkbike Poll: How Important Are Water Bottles?
Haven't used a water bottle for 20+ years. Short ride? fill up the pack only partway. Long ride? Fill it up all the way. Easy to get to the water; pack also holds other stuff I normally take on a ride. I'm at the point now where it feels strange to ride without a pack. I guess I never quite understood the fascination with water bottles, or why it needs to be such a big deal when designing a bike when (in my opinion) a better option already exists. I simply can;t wrap my little pea brain around NOT buying a bike I liked because it couldn't hold a water bottle. But as they say, different strokes for different folks. I'll keep using my pack, and y'all can keep on with your water bottles. Everybody wins.

Tech Briefing: Affordable Bikes, eMTBs & More - September 2020
Judging by the moaning about prices every time a bike gets reviewed, I would guess it's at least a dozen.

Just did it last summer, worth every penny. And after exchange rate for us U.S. folk, it was quite a bit cheaper than $2000.

Online Deals - January 2019
Just bought one when they started this sale. It rips. Selling my DH bike because 90% of the places I used to ride the DH bike I just started riding this. I figured if I didn't like it, I could part it out and get my money back. So yeah...good deal.

@ScandiumRider: Why yes...yes I did. I already knew about Daryl Hannah and the movie being trash though (watched it as a kid). Had no idea that spawned a name craze over a bad mermaid flick.

You can thank the 1980s for that one...it really became popular after the movie "Splash." Which, considering this conversation, is especially amusing since the main actresses' first name is typically used as a male name (Daryl Hannah). The movie was total garbage, btw.

Throwback Thursday: Mountain Biking Console Games
@dubiousdesigns: Not so fast! My 11-year old son loves the game, and plays it all the time. It's the only reason we even still have the PS2 hooked up.
