@WkDayWarrior: he might be able to race/practice under a GB jersey. I think that's the only other way you get on track without the points. but I don't know how you go about getting one? I assume Rachel will have had to do the same at the start of the season as she wouldn't of had any points in the bag either till she did the first race

@usfrenchie: what's the deal with those pads? they all seem to be inside the taped course so could you monster truck/jump your way over them and not be outside the marked course or would that be a DQ? Amazing how different it makes the course feel, if it was just a pole and tape in all those places you wouldn't even notice, just another marked out track, but those pads make it seem contrived, fake and unnatural. I understand in skiing why gates help mark out big open areas to make it challenging, but the trees and rocks where doing a pretty good job already in DH.

5 Things We Learned from Red Bull Rampage 2021

I've got massive respect for the rampage veterans but watching the competition year on year now, especially at returning venues is getting a little de ja vu and boring.... more of a class reunion than a competition! Think they need to ditch auto qualifying when they go to the next venue and start fresh and make everyone submit stuff for entry.

@whatisthecolour: did the macavalanche there a couple of years ago. Was looking at sections of that track as i went up the lift and just assumed it was an old disused, washed out track cause it looked so brutal and un-ridable!
