Opinion: The Opposite of Learning to Fly
Agreed...most of the guys I rode with in my 20's and 30's that had the charge or nothing attitude aren't riding anymore since their ego took the fun out of it for them when they had to slow down with age and injury

5 Interesting Bikes For Sale on the Pinkbike Buy&Sell - What Do You Think?
@jaame: Mags had air in both legs and no cartridge. Judy had first cartridge that I replaced with White Bros aftermarket piece and elastomers I also replaced with Speedsprings. White Bros unit held up fine but a Speedspring reparted my hair in a rock garden as it entered orbit.

Bike Check: Nathan Riddle's Son Is One Lucky Kid
@IluvRIDING: I have personally pulled my punctured thigh off the end of a lockringed handlebar and have the emergency room bill to show for it. That one even had an end cap on it.

6 Time Moto GP World Champion Marc Marquez Partners with Mondraker
Any of you guys remember Mick Doohan? He was a true champ who had his legs sown together at one point after a horrible accident and crutched it to the bike to waste everyone at the time...on a monster 500 Honda. Just saying....another GOAT contender. All time is Rossi for sure and Marquez is best of the best in the modern era, he needs to swap brands to prove the point eventually though (i.e. Rossi & Stoner). Cheers, I LOVE Moto GP!

Pinkbike Poll: Would You Rather Shuttle or eMTB?
@vp27: I turn 50 tomorrow and I was totally anti-E-Mtb but having ridden a high end model last year, I can say I have no worries about turning 60. For now, I feel lucky to have been able to purchase my first proper carbon enduro bike a couple of years ago and I will grind that f*er up to hit the downhills until I can't anymore. The more I do it, the longer I am able. I see the light though that even at my age and girth, an e-bike puts those long distance super-endurance rides that we used to do within reach again.

Now THAT Was a Bike: 1996 Klein Mantra Pro
@jaydawg69: The pivot point on the Pipeline was much lower and I think gave better leverage on the shock while standing...it was cush in the seat but still some decent suspension while standing. Had a friend who had one and it didn't behave in an unpredictable or "evil" way....it was actually quite a fun ride.

Whistler Bike Park: Garbanzo and Creekside Opening - Park Report
Just got back last night our first trip to Whistler. 3 days of pure joy, challenge and yes...fear. Rode some Garbo on Saturday under threat of rain that held off most of the day in the end but it was soft and the diamond runs are extra sketchy with moisture on the rock surfaces.
Good thing the lower park is absolutely going off, especially on Friday when it warmed up significantly. We really got lucky as we rolled in on the tail end of the rain and had some of the best riding of our lives! Whistlerland is everything it's cracked up to be and then some!
