Bike, Surfer, Powder, & Snowboarder Magazines Shut Down
@viccuus: im with you on that. This time with Bike, im bummed. But DirtRag was something else. When was getting back into MTB it was DR that helped make an integral part of me. When DR shut down it was just a gut punch, really felt like losing something special to me

Bike, Surfer, Powder, & Snowboarder Magazines Shut Down
So disappointed. Ive been subscribed to DirtRag, Bike and Freehub for nearly a decade, and this year two of them are gone. Im a millennial, but print media has never gotten old for me, and im really bumming about this. This year, ive gone from getting like 20 magazines a year in my mailbox down to 4.

Pinkbike Poll: Where Do You Shop for Bike Parts?
If im going to buy something new, ill get it from the shop. They make sure i get a very fair price. For better or worse though, i buy alot of stuff second hand, so that comes from the internet. I can do most of my own service, but they take care of anything i cant. And theyre super generous with little miscellaneous stuff.....valve stems, sealant, spacers, etc....its alway "how about a couple bucks" or "just take it, youre good". I really appreciate them.

Burgtec Announces Enduro MK3 Stem
Truvativ hussafelt....theyre like 25 dollars too. I think they might be heavy though, as if what your stem weighs makes any sort of difference

Pinkbike Poll: If You Had to Ride One Bike for the Rest of Your Life, What Would It Be?
Fatbike would be my choice, with absolute certainty. Without a fatbike, i would only be able to ride like 6 months a year here, so for better or worse, there no option other than fatbike for me

'Goggles for Docs’ Program Launched to Donate Goggles to Health Care Workers
@Ron-C: thanks for doing what you do. Doctors and nurses get all the publicity, which they deserve, they work hard, but without people like you and the hundreds of other less-visible jobs, none of that direct patient care is possible. Here's to you!

Opinion: 4 Lessons From Riding Inexpensive Bikes
There are alot of people for whom this price range isnt a beginner bike. Ive been riding for most of my life at this point, but a 2000 dollar mtb would be the 4th most expensive thing ive ever bought, after house and our cars. Serious riders, with student loans and kids and mortgages buy these bikes too, and i wish we wouldnt just assume that its only brand new riders buying reasonably priced bikes.

First Ride: Vee Tire Co Snap Trail - Bike Connection Winter 2020
Unfortunatly, it seems that PBs readers have decided that fatbikes arnt mountain bikes. Couple years ago there was a fatbike video on here, and i caught so much hate for saying that it, and fatbikes, were cool. I guess everyone on here lives where it doesnt snow. To me, getting to ride bikes in the woods all year long is awesome, but it seems like no one else saw it that way. It seemed like everyone was telling me that it was cooler to only ride 6 months a year than it was to ride a fatbike.

First Ride: Transition's New Scout Carbon
Internal routing is a solution to a problem that does not exist. Why would anyone want their bike to be way more difficult to work on for no benefit? Completely pointless roadie nonsense.
