New Tech from Industry Nine, Giro, Supacaz, & Fizik - Eurobike 2019
Yeah i cant handle how much stems cost. I have the truvativ hussafelt on all of my bikes....$20. I cant imagine spending more when those 20 dollar stems have worked perfect all these years

First Look: Bell Super Air R - A New Lightweight Full-Face Trail Helmet
Wow UGLY. I thought the 2r and 3r are decent looking. Personally, i dont see the use of the removable chinbar. Ive been using a proframe full time for about a year and a half, and i cant remember ever thinking 'wow i wish i could take the chin bar off for a little while'. That said, if your rides are like a 2 hour climb followed by descending the same distance then i could see it making sense. Still though, why does it look so bad? The previous generations looked just fine

Day One Photo Epic: Rough and Tough - EWS Madeira 2019
Theres two types of full face helmets, basically. Theres light "trail" full face, like the bell supers, proframe, tld stage, etc. Theyre full face helmets and theyre solid, but theyre built more like half shell trail helmets. Not good enough protection for these kinds of speed. Then theres honest to goodness DH helmets, your fox rampage, d3, etc. These are much sturdier protection. Thats what everyone in ews are wearing

6 New Enduro-Ready Full Face Helmets Ridden & Rated
Same experience with the proframe. Only time i wear an half shell at this point is just tooling around the neighborhood. As a trail helmet, it doesnt have any downside that isnt heartily overcome by the increased protection

AMI Purchases Bike Mag, Dew Tour, & Other Sports/Adventure Titles
Ive been a very happy bike magazine subscriber for about 5 years...along with dirtrag and freehub. Hope they stick around, the subscriptions are worth every bit of what they cost, honestly perhaps even a bit more than they cost. I may be an old fashioned 31 year old, but books and magazines made of paper mean the world to me. Id give up most of the rest of my material posessions before my physical books and magazines

Graham Agassiz on Evil Bikes for 2019
@mikekazimer: it kind of sounds like if companies dont send PB a bike to review, then you would have to go purchase one yourself in order to do a review. That doesnt sound very possible. Perhaps everyone should think about that before they yell about not reviewing this or that bike. I do agree though, it would be nice to see some of the newer evil bikes reviewed, and im not sure why evil wouldnt do that, since this is a decent sized audience.
