@thechunderdownunder: I don’t hate trucks, I work construction and haul shit with one every day. I’m just making an observation that they are not the best option for the health of our planet as a daily driver, and calling that out causes a weirdly aggressive reaction from a lot of people.

For some reason, large SUVs and pickups are fetishized in this country the same way guns are.
It’s embarrassing how many people in my neck of the woods drive Raptors to their accounting jobs. I’d bet the only off-road terrain a majority of them see is accidentally driving up on a curb in the Starbucks drive-thru.
