Hmm, surely suspension setup and tyre choice and pressure has a bigger effect than the bars alone? Higher pressure will translate to more feedback through the bars, I'd hazard a guess and say most people don't know how to tune or dial in their suspension and tyre pressures for optimum comfort or performance, or even a happy medium.
When I started 10 years ago my forks went from being way to soft to too stiff and tyre pressures were the same, the noticeable difference in arm pump was massive. Nowadays I like a firm set up and only get minor pump in the colder weather and on huge descends. Used the same renthal fatbar from day 1.

I hope however nobody got injured at the end of the race, everyone seemed to get a bit crushed in the finish areas as the barrier collapsed and everyone rushed in 😬

Opinion: Gearboxes Are a Logical Evolution of the Downhill Bike
I'm surprised that ZF transmission, that makes automotive gearbox and ATF haven't dipped a toe into the water. They have the knowledge know how, the tech and the size to make it work and it would be a huge financial gain for essentially a small amount of R&D. One standardized design, Like what they do in the automotive industry, only variables are the number of speeds etc. they build bombproof transmissions for the best majority of all car manufacturers. It would be an easy win for them IMO for growth
