Ask Pinkbike: Tight Shock Bushings, Top-End or Tuned Shock, Spring Rate vs Force
@DHhack: I had it lightened once. Still too stiff for high speed hits. I may eventually send it in again. I wish the shims weren't imperial otherwise I would work on it myself. Also need special tools to charge IFP. Rockshox stuff is easy to work on don't really need special tools.

I have the bomber cr. It's a very overdamped shock for lighter riders.

Field Test: Ghost Riot Trail Full Party - The Mixed Message Machine
@RadBartTaylor: I don't see what the stack is. But if it is low that could also contribute. I imagine they could have helped the bike with a shorter stem and more spacers under the stem.

Field Test: Ghost Riot Trail Full Party - The Mixed Message Machine
@RadBartTaylor: the reason this descends poorly is the relatively long reach for a medium paired with a relatively steep HA. Puts alot of weight over front.

Pinkbike Poll: How Much Sag Do You Run?
@redrook: what about ride heght and dynamic geo? I think that counts for alot. Too much front sag and too little rear sag and you don't have confidence on the steeps.

Field Test: 2022 YT Capra - The Speedy All-Rounder
I am 167 cm and the small sized bikes don't really fit me anymore. I had a 2018 orbea rallon with 430 reach and it always felt too big. I moved to a 2020 nukeproof mega with 405 reach and it feels much better and manuevarable. I think with the industry moving to 29er only they won't be able to produce bikes "small enough" for people my height. A few still do like the S1 sized SJ Evo. I hope they keep 275 around for small sized bikes.
