Josh is really good at commentating but do we really need the constant cuts to the view of his upper body? I want to see the course

Yeah, a picture in picture would be nice, maybe have his face in the bottom corner.

How else will we know that he is sponsored by [BIKE-BRAND] supported by [CLOTHING BRAND] and [TYRE BRAND]

Need to be reminded that Giant is a big sponsor. Nonetheless a great preview, but I do miss the racers doing it.

Came here to say the same thing. It really offers nothing

Watch the Puck Pieterse lap, she always posts it on Youtube.

Watching the preview they are now using an F1 style pit lane for the Tech/Feed Zone. This seems to be a change that hasn't been mentioned before? Wounder if this adds an advantage to not taking on water / gels in a lap?

yeah that wasnt really clear. its a long lane on grass, where the main track is tarmac so a bit of a disadvantage. possible the pit lane is only for actual mechanicing, and bottles can still be passed over the fence?
I always wonder how much they actually drink, they must be being given part filled bottles, maybe with different electrolytes at different stages of the race?

@AyJayDoubleyou: they drink when they can, not always caught on camera. Usually, you go with like a half filled bottle, and grab a new one when you can need to. Not sure about the split because pretty much every lap riders take a bottle, especially if it’s hot. They cool them selves down etc. The split makes sense for mechanical

Although I'm solidly a gravity rider I really enjoy watching WCXC. Where can we watch it this year?

In the US you can just get a GCN+ subscription for DH and XC. You can also watch some big road and gravel races there as well. Seems like a deal, I didn’t know where to watch things like the Giro before this all came about.

That wasn't bad at all.Still probably gonna hold off til DHI begins in June. Would be good to hear Bart say the course was dursty on Friday but murdy on Sunday, however.Parts of the course will remain burmpy in any event.

Hopefully the actual overage is going to be way better than the go pro pointing at the ground.

Put this man on non ebike so he has to breath and can pause the commentary. Also, I don't need to constantly keep seeing the commentator, I'm here for the course.

Josh doing a good job of the commentary. Nice

Can do this route on my rigid single speed..... NP!
  • 2 0
Yes you can. But probably not as fast as the world cup riders.

Seems the XCC show on the preview is NOT the course the guys do today...
