Tech Randoms Round 2 - Maribor DH World Cup 2019
@DrSam: I have both m9120 and m9020 brakes on different bikes, the newer ones have a LOT less grabby initial bite, makes fine modulation much easier. I assume they altered the servowave somehow?

Tech Randoms Round 2 - Maribor DH World Cup 2019
@ScottB-408: m9120 XTR levers have alu lever blades, m9020 were carbon with an alu core to try and counteract snapping, m9000/9100 have full carbon blades.

Video: SRAM's Wireless Eagle AXS Drivetrain Explained
Hope it's reliable, My current Etap experience shows otherwise! Two bikes I regularly service at work were upgraded to Etap just over a year ago, they've had 5 rear mechs between them over that time, they just stop shifting or develop major lag i.e. you press shifter gears don't move for 10-20 crank revolutions, then it goes and testicle/stem interface is likely! All replaced under warranty thankfully, hopefully the AXS version is better. Just for balance I see a fair few Di2 problems to, tend to be able to do something about those though, rather than a straight warranty claim.

Update: What's Going On With Shimano's New XTR Group?
I bought an SLX crank in the meantime, the 12 speed chain will NOT work on an SLX ring but seems fine on a Burgtec ring.

Update: What's Going On With Shimano's New XTR Group?
I have the whole groupset apart from the cranks which aren't due till the end of August (the day I return from this years Alps trip - bloody typical!) and the 203mm rotor for the front brake (next week apparently). I'm using DT hubs. It is worth the wait, shifting is amazing and the four pot brakes are the best feeling brakes I've ever used.

Michelin Return to World Cup Downhill with MS Mondraker
@Neale1978: I sold a pair of wheels once (Rhyno lites), fitted with barely used 16's, I let the buyer have the tyres for free, getting them on was a complete bitch! Wasn't even gonna try getting them off! Still got a pair of unused 24s sat about, my god they're hefty. I hope the new ones are good, I'll give them a try when I need some new ones.

Seriously 10/10 for innovation, they've had some fantastic ideas. Maybe 5/10 for implementation!

Any chance of beta testing being carried out by Scott, Ray and sAM, instead of paying customers?
