Jun 2, 2012Demo 7 with UPGRADES (SMALL)
$1500 USDI am selling my bike because i need to finish making payments on my car. It's ashame that this bike has to go, i love biking, and hopefully when i get more money i will get back into the sport. What I am selling is a 2008 Demo 7 with a couple upgrades. The fork is a 2008 Marzocchi 66 RCV (spring compression with dual air preload). The fork suffered from the infamous head tube creaking, and it was sent to Marzocchi to fix it. The gave me a new upper to the fork (as you can see the silver tubes). The fork also has an RC3 rebound damper in it, the bike has less than 50 hours of riding after the rebuild. The rear shock was rebuilt, it has 10 hours of riding on it. The rear shock is a Fox DHX 4.0 coil (feels amazing). The other upgrade oi added is a set of 2011 Avid Code R's, i put new brake pads in them, i gave them a fresh bleed (if shipped will probably need to be re-bled due to the altitude and pressure when flying). The bike rides like new, the suspension feels like it is suppose to, (plush and rigid), the bike shifts great thanks to the Sram X-9 shifters and rear dérailleur). The bike comes with a spare E*13 bash guard (36t, correct size) that is new and unopened. I will ship the bike AS LONG AS THE BUYER PAYS SHIPPING! All sales that are not local are to be done through Pay-Pal since it is the most secure way for both of us.
Also the bike was used very lightly since i live in St. Louis Missouri.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to PM me, I'm always on-line
Thanks
Tim

First Look: Polygon's New Downhill Bike
seems like if you hit a rock hard enough, say goodbye to your rear brake and shifting.
