by Rémy Métailler

Matt Bolton is a Trail Builder and Mountain Biker, here in Squamish, and he has built some really fun trails that most of us absolutely love riding. We went for a day of riding on some of his lines and the ones his buddy Honza. Such a cool process to ride for the first time a feature with the builder himself and get some cool insights!

How these guys are so relaxed while doing this stuff will never cease to amaze me. I mean I get it, being relaxed helps with riding loose and controlled, but still.

looks like no one’s got words for how gnarly these features are!

his yt channel is the best, so much good riding that reflects a real-life; like checking the trail, talking about the features...and that Remy needs to check some jumps means that he still is a human being....

Remy is so humble about sending seriously dangerous stuff. His vids are must-see.

Beautiful video. You guys rock. Thanks to the sponsors as well - I support sponsors who support this type of content.

You know shit gets serious when Rémy sounds (a little) worried before hitting a line

Nice vid, RAD like every time.

Now someone should sponsor Honza for building these features. He spent more than a month on each of these drops and jumps and I never saw him in any of these pro videos. And believe me, he hit them all like a first one.
(Give him at least a few beers which he can share with me when I am occasionally helping him. Hahahaha)

It is really cool to see a top notch rider like Remy not only hit these outrageous features, but also show the preparation and mindset behind what it truly takes. His skill, insight, and humility really remind me to Cody Townsend (a professional Skier) in his 'The Fifty' series.

no breaths between the jumps in the gap line was sick. Same with the 30 foot gap to super tight trees...! Squamish Freeride indeed!

Absolutely savage trail. I’ve walked it a number of times. Camera doesn’t convey the hugeness of some of these features.

I don't watch many MTB films because after 25 years of riding I kind of think that I've seen it all but these Remy edits are on another level and very enjoyable to watch .
