First Look: CoreCap Claims 'World's First Integrated Bike Computer'
I'm not going to poop on it - they made something that looks slick and clean - the PB discussion boards seem to light up in glowing approval every time Dangerholm breaks out the drill and grinder and finds new places to tuck in cables. That said, I'm not going to be customer #1 - Kickstarter electronic products have a very mixed track record.

Video: Friday Fails #222
2:38 - that was a PB editing fail, not a riding fail - the little kid made it to the airbag. Whoever edited this week's FFs, however, flunked massively by going with a clip of a youth rider, instead of footy of a dentist wrapping his Yeti around a tree at low speed.

Slack Randoms: Jet Bikes, Clipless Chelsea Boots, Aero Water Bottles & More
Admittedly, it was a Virgin internet (or something ad), but I feel like whoever filmed/directed/edited it had never seen an action sports video, much less a skateboarding video before. Some speed wobble footage would have made it much more exciting than the naff stage lights and roadside smoke machines.

Thinking the same thing. The man is living, brake and helmet-less proof that, while the passage of time is inevitable, getting old is a choice.

Totally agree. If you're going hard on scooter-sized wheels and eat it - it's not a fail. Rather, gravity momentarily interrupted the awesomeness.

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Run a Bash Guard?
Where I ride is full of metal-eating limestone chunk - Replacing a bash guard every ~2-3 years seems infinitely preferable to smashing up a chainring or chain in the woods.

Video: Steve Vanderhoek Takes Remy Metailler & Yoann Barelli Down the Monster 'Spice Fly' Line
I love the way Yoann is always happy when doing stuff at the absolute limits of what's possible and survivable on a bike. Kind of reminds me of Valentino Rossi, who treated doing the same kind of thing at absurd speeds on a bike as goofing around.
