First Look: New Bosch CX Motor System Is Lighter, Quieter and Rangier
"The system has already seen extensive use in eMTB racing" is a statement I do not believe for usage of ABS in bicycle racing. References are needed on that statement!

5 Things We Learned from the Andorra DH World Championships 2024
@lestooge: Perhaps you are right, but I think UCI as a business would also benefit from better management of their more marginal disciplines in the mountainbike category. The current approach to our sport from a UCI perspective is incredibly short-sighted. Racing on the road did not become a profitable sport by suffocating its exposure like what is happening to mountainbike racing categories now. It is bad for the sport and bad for the business. Consumers of the racing content suffer(us!), but the racers and their sponsors are suffering more.

5 Things We Learned from the Andorra DH World Championships 2024
The whole sport is let down by the broadcasting politics of UCI. The sport is practically not available and is not covered in the part of the world interesting to the sponsors of the sport. When will Pinkbike put the UCI officials to the wall with some proper questioning? The sport is suffering and Pinkbike would get so much engagement with the story. Remember, no response is also response. Please step up, Pinkbike. From my perspective we would all win if you do.

Pierer Mobility Announces Plan to Sell Felt Bicycles Brand
Wonder if a brand(/enterprise) like Felt has any market value at all in the current market? Do they have a USP at all? Not hitting on Felt in particular. Believe this goes for a lot of other brands as well. Believe those that are only ordering frames from Taiwan, China etc. with limited input, putting OEM kits on and not generating any profits or prospect of profits will be suffering going forward.

It Looks Like 'Snow Biking' Could Earn a Rainbow Jersey & UCI Ranking Points in 2024
This has been done before. Snow King happened in 2004 on the same tracks as the World Cup skiers. No Fatbikes in sight, and it was kind of cool at the time. If done right this might have potential.

Frameworks Racing & Cotic Collaborate on a Steel DH Frame
@vhdh666: Why does the mountainbike-scene seem to bash on people that are trying to move the sport? For instance Paul Aston and Leo Kokkonen both seem to receive quite a bit of harsh feedback in the comments here at Pinkbike. They might not be the smoothest people out there, but they are moving the sport. They are also putting their name out there, and not hiding behind some corporate logo. The sport today would be in a different place if it had not been for their inputs.

First Look: Cotic RocketMAX Gen4 - Made in the UK
Looks very nice! A couple of questions though: 1. Is that cable routing for the rear derailleur representing the production version? To me it seems like the shifting cable will have to move about quite vividly when the rear suspension cycles through its travel. Why isn't this routed along the chainstay? 2. What sort of kinematic properties does the frame have?
